As a Maintenance Worker with the Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus at Wellspring, you'll be part of a team of nurses, CNAs, and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and families in Monroe. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Monroe county to provide services to seniors. In this position, you'll bring a high school diploma. You will also bring experience in any mechanical, electrical or maintenance related experience; at least two years of prior maintenance experience is preferred. You will also bring a working knowledge of using computers and a willingness to learn the software for work orders.
As a Maintenance Worker, you will:
- Organize workload and prioritize work orders to provide repairs to not interrupt daily activity needs and complete work orders to maintain the appearance and functions of the facility.
- Operate small electrical tools, lawn mowers, rototillers, edger's, etc.
- Interior and exterior painting
- Perform duties in accordance with established methods and techniques in conformance with recognized standards as well as federal/state rules and regulations.
- Knowledgeable of and able to carry out expected procedures during all types of disasters and drills.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance program as established by supervisor
- Is available to assist other staff as may be necessary to provide a service in emergency situations
- Maintain water, heating and sewage systems as required
- Assist in maintaining security of grounds and buildings
