Work Schedule: This hybrid role requires three days a week in our Detroit office, offering a blend of collaborative and independent work environments.
Must Have Skills
- SQL/Python Proficiency: Utilize your strong command of SQL and Python to develop and maintain robust reporting systems.
- High-Level Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in reviewing and converting reports.
- Independent Problem Solving: Work autonomously to navigate databases and identify essential data components.
Job Responsibilities
- Code, test, support, and debug existing reports built in Microsoft Access, transitioning them to SQL and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with senior developers to gain insight into the data landscape while independently recreating and testing new reports.
- Interact directly with business clients to gather requirements and provide tailored information to meet their needs.
- Analyze issues, make informed decisions, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to tackle challenging assignments, further developing your skills.
Industry Experience
We seek a candidate who can work independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating a curious mindset and the ability to navigate complex databases for report building.
