KPMG is currently seeking a Product Designer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities:
Assist in user research to understand user needs, and translate findings into design considerations for Generative AI products
Support the design of intuitive interaction models for Generative AI, focusing on clarity, transparency, control, and usability, under senior guidance
Contribute to exploring and prototyping novel interaction paradigms like natural language interfaces and conversational User Interface (UI), with mentorship
Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to illustrate user flows in Generative AI features, and participate in design reviews
Aid in researching and defining best practices for prompt engineering User Experience (UX), including user-friendly interfaces for prompt crafting and AI output refinementQualifications:
Minimum one year of recent experience in Product Design, UX and UI Design, User Research with foundational understanding of user-centered design methodologies
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human-Centered Design (HCD), Product Design, UX Design, or a related field is preferred
Demonstrable interest and some experience in applying User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, ideally with an interest in complex product design and Generative AI
Some exposure to user research and usability testing methods
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Mural, and a portfolio or project examples showing design thinking and problem-solving
Developing communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in Agile environments; possess awareness of accessibility guidelines and best practices
