Location: Saginaw Correctional Facility – Freeland, MI
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No weekends or holidays

Overview:
Care One Inc., a trusted Michigan-based staffing agency for over 30 years, is seeking a Master’s-level Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join the clinical team at Saginaw Correctional Facility in Freeland, MI. This role is essential in delivering mental health services to incarcerated individuals and contributing to their overall well-being and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:

Assess treatment needs through referrals and clinical evaluation of incarcerated individuals

Facilitate group therapy sessions including psychoeducation, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychosocial skills groups

Provide specialized therapeutic services including Sex Offender Treatment, Assaultive Offender Therapy, and Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Deliver limited individual therapy in accordance with treatment plans

Conduct needs assessments to support re-entry and post-release placement

Monitor behavior and recommend changes in treatment level as clinically appropriate

Collaborate with the facility's multidisciplinary treatment team

Maintain thorough and compliant clinical documentation

Respond to clinical correspondence per facility procedures
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution

Active Michigan licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Strong assessment, documentation, and case management skills

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff and patient populations
