Assembler
Salary Range:$20.00 To $25.00 Hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assembly Technician responsibilities include constructing items in the warehouse industrial facility or outdoors. In addition, they are responsible for building a final product based on instructions and specifications outlined by customers. Work in a fast-paced environment where construction of various items from smaller parts will be assembled and sold to customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
•Work from layout drawings, point-to-point wire lists and wiring schematics
•Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
•Making sure that all the parts, labor and other processes are progressing at the given time.
•Assembling components or products for final sale.
•Use PPE (personal protection equipment) properly to prevent unexpected incidents.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role
•Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and pieces into a final product.
•The ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product.
•Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product.
•Ability to be on feet and/or stand for long periods of time & lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Ability to learn and Shop math.
•Ability to read and interpret 2D Blueprints.
•Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
•Ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to solve problems.
•Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
•Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
