Job Details

The employee of this position is responsible for providing a wide variety of secretarial and administrative duties and services as support to the Township Supervisor and other Township Officials.

Job Functions: 

• Sending out correspondence 
• Picking up mail and distribution
• Process and prepare documents as directed by the Township Supervisor
• Courteously greet the public, answer and respond to inquires and phone calls, providing information within the scope of responsibility. Refer all calls and visitors to appropriate parties
• Communicate effectively with customers, employees and other individuals to answer questions, explain information and field complaints
• Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailings and database systems, either manually or using a computer
• Use of Computer, word processing, tax and election software as well as copy machines, postage meter, scanner and other general office equipment
• Knowledge of Microsoft 360 and Excel and keeping up-to-date technically and applying knowledge to your job
• Assist during tax seasons with the Assessor and Treasurer when applicable
