Our client, a leading advertising agancy in their space, is looking to hire an Ad Operations & Business Affairs Manager on a long-term contract basis. This role supports the creative team in licensing and business affaris and manages creative resource allocation and resource management. *This role can sit remote but must works EST hours.* Responsibilities: * Manage business affairs for advertising production, including licensing and contracts for creative assets. * Oversee timelines, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance and risk management. * Project management of document flow, flagging issues of concern. * Set up status meetings. * Negotiate, prepare, and review production agreements. * Negotiate and contract with talent (actors, voiceover, influencers, celebrities, music producers) and licensing companies for intellectual property. * Manage Contract production suppliers (freelance directors, crew, production companies, photographers). * Liaise with other Business Affairs executives to maintain best practices. * Foster long-term relationships with colleagues and clients. * Maintain sound judgment in ambiguous situations. * Collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership. * Ensure regulatory clearances of scripts and finished adverts. * Oversee delivery and distribution of finished adverts. * Estimate business affairs fee costs and resources for clients. * Advise producers on script, compliance, legal issues, production insurance, and production itself. * Ensure client SOWs reflect agreed positions with talent/production companies. * Align with talent/production union rules (Equity, SAG-AFTRA, musician's unions). * Track and review contracts and deals. * Conduct research in support of deal review. * Demonstrate project management skills in a fast-moving environment. Skills: * 5+ years of Agency experience * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Project Management and fair negotiation skills. * Project management, flexible, and proactive problem solver. * Independent and leadership qualities. * Calm and approachable under pressure.
