Platform Predictive Logistics Specialist Sterling Heights, MI Contract Position $53.56-$58.56/Hour Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: * Lead the development, integration, and support of predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies for ground combat vehicles, contributing to both subsystem and platform-level implementation. * Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to deploy and refine PdM capabilities. * Implement and manage condition monitoring systems, collecting and analyzing sensor data to forecast equipment failures. * Develop predictive models using data analysis and machine learning techniques to anticipate maintenance needs. * Maintain documentation for PdM tools, system performance reports, and analytics workflows. * Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of PdM-related hardware, software, and networked systems. * Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. * Perform additional engineering support tasks as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related STEM field from an accredited institution. * Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in Maintenance Engineering or Reliability Engineering. * Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). * Technical Skills: * Proficiency with data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, and machine learning algorithms. * Experience with PdM systems, sensors, and condition monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography). * Familiarity with hardware/software troubleshooting, data acquisition, and networking principles in maintenance systems. * Knowledge of maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS, EMS) and PdM platforms. * Documentation & Tools: * Ability to create and manage technical documentation and user guides. * Experience integrating PdM solutions into defense or industrial environments. * Certifications (Preferred): * Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) - SMRP. * Machine Learning or Data Science certifications, such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or similar. * Preferred Experience: * Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance * Background in defense or military vehicle systems. * Awareness of regulatory standards and frameworks affecting maintenance and reliability. * Hands-on experience with real-time sensor-based data processing and predictive analytics platforms.
