The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Monroe, MI seeking experienced Machine Operators. Pay increases available after 30 days!!
Job Duties for Machine Operators:
- Tends to processing machines such as: Steel Pickling, Galvanizing and Slitting Machines.
- Reads production orders to determine material requirements.
- Cuts welds to separate material.
- Operates oiler to ensure proper oil is applied.
- Performs minor machine maintenance and general housekeeping.
Requirements of Machine Operators:
- Ability to perform shop math (multiple and divide, add and subtract two digit numbers).
- Ability to read schematic drawings.
- Prior Steel experience required, Pickling experience preferred.
- Regularly lift and move parts up to 25lbs.
Hours for Machine Operators:
- Monday-Friday 4pm-12am
- Must be available for daily Overtime and occasional work on Saturdays and Sundays
- Must be available for training on 1st shift (8am-4pm)
Compensation for Machine Operators:
- $22.25hr
- Double time for Sundays!
