SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Temporary Office Assistant for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. The person will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team by managing front desk operations, assisting with administrative functions, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. This is a short-term, full-time role expected to last about two months. The schedule is onsite during standard business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle incoming phone calls and provide general information.
- Manage emails sent to the shared Human Resources inbox.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews using Outlook Calendar.
- Prepare interview packets and necessary materials for hiring managers.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation tasks.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint for various projects.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior administrative or HR support experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office systems.
