Summary
As an Equipment Engineer I, you will oversee and coordinate the installation of equipment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and piping hookup. This role involves design review, installation coordination, and on-site execution management to ensure the successful deployment of equipment in manufacturing and logistics facilities. You will also provide education for controls with plant to distribute company base knowledge for company specific equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation Coordination: Manage and oversee the installation of equipment, ensuring smooth integration with electrical and piping systems.
- Hookup Execution: Plan and execute mechanical, electrical, and piping (MEP) hookup for newly installed equipment.
- Design Review & Improvement: Analyze engineering drawings and provide feedback to improve installation efficiency and reliability.
- On-Site Supervision: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proper execution of installation projects.
- Schedule & Progress Management: Develop and track installation schedules, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all installation work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation plans, hookup procedures, and post-installation inspections.
- Communication & Collaboration: Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and external vendors to facilitate a seamless installation process.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in equipment installation and hookup, particularly in mechanical, electrical, and piping (MEP) integration.
- Strong understanding of facility utilities, electrical wiring, piping systems, and automation equipment.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams in an industrial or logistics environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both Korean and English is preferred.
