Position:
Special Education Paraprofessional at Floyd Elementary (6.5 hours per day)
Qualifications:
Applicant must:
- be able to work with special education students
- be able to support behavior and academic students
- consistently be in attendance at work
- attend/assist in both indoor and outdoor activities on a daily basis
- assist in providing individual and small group instruction, as directed by the classroom teacher
- be willing to learn a trauma informed approach to guiding student behavior
- be willing to learn and implement Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies
