As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.
- This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
- Full-time position; 40 hours/wk. (Monday-Friday) Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable. After hours on-call availability.
- Salary Range: LMSW: $28.42 - $36.44 per hour- based on licensure status (limited vs. full licensure)
- $5,000.00 sign-on bonus available (Master's Level).(If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)

Requirements:
- Full or limited Michigan licensure (LMSW or LLMSW) as a Master’s Social Worker preferred. Consideration will be given to full or limited Michigan licensure (LPC or LLPC) candidates.
- Minimum two years of outpatient therapy experience in providing the examination, evaluation, and treatment of adults and children with severe mental health challenges.
- Substance use experience and CAADC credential desirable.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include working with children and adults in an outpatient mental health setting.
- Performs clinical assessments, develops and implements care plans, provides individual/family/group therapy to children and adults in an effective and efficient manner, and conducts discharge and after care planning.
- Provides co-occurring substance abuse treatment by utilizing the stages of change treatment model.
- Advocates and serves as a liaison with community supports and agencies.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery-based practices.
- Provides crisis intervention services during regular office hours.
- After hours on-call availability required.
- Two evenings per week required; flexible schedule.
