Pukall Lumber Company is seeking Machine Operators in our Planing Mill and Sawmill.
Manufacturing Machine Operators-Planing Mill
Full-time status; 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 10-hour day shifts; Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.
Summary - The Machine Setup/Operator - Planing Mill will operate machinery and other equipment that produces finished boards and mouldings. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Manufacturing Machine Operators-Sawmill
Full-time status; 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 10-hour day shifts; Monday through Thursday; occasional Friday 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Summary - The Machine Setup/Operator-Sawmill will rotate between six stations to operate saws and other equipment to cut planks, timbers or boards to appropriate lengths and thickness and pass lumber on conveyors through the Sawmill. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Three to six months’ related experience and/or training in machine operations and lumber grading standards is preferred. Proven capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
