Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Warehouse/CDL – Class A Truck Driver to work in the Shipping Department on our 1st Shift. The hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with overtime as required on the weekends. In this role, you will be working as a company driver and be home daily. You will also have both manufacturing and driving responsibilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for transporting company products and parts to and from customers and suppliers within the State of Michigan.
- Required to perform inspections before and after a trip.
- Maintain equipment provided by Company.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all DOT federal/state regulations.
- When not making deliveries some warehouse and shop work is required including loading unloading trucks, cleaning the shop and working in the sheet metal processing area helping build light product.
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers and fellow employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

What Requirements Are Needed
- Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience and CDL-A License required with air brakes endorsement.
- Must pass drug and alcohol test.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with customers and the public.
- Conduct daily inspections both pre-trip and post-trip of the truck and trailers hauled and report any problems or damage to management.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and DOT regulations.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Ability to perform warehouse functions such as drive forklift or pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products to and from trailers and trucks.
