How you make an impact…
The Nuclear Radioisotope Production Supervisor will manage capabilities focusing on production of radioisotopes which are owned by the nuclear team at Niowave, operational excellence, and delivery of high-quality cGMP radioisotopes. The supervisor develops and manages the production team and individual Key Performance Indications (KPIs), ensures succinct coordination, communication, and ultimate success with desired project outcomes and meeting company objectives.
What you need to succeed…

- Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering, health physics, or other related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years operating in a production or manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years’ experience supervising day-to-day activities of other team members, providing mentoring, and career development coaching.
- Understands how to integrate into a new team/organization – appreciates the history of the current state, knows how and when to make suggestions, as well as using just the right pace to reach the improved future state.
- Understands your own communication and learning styles, can assess others’ styles, and is able to find the right path to connect the two.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Organizational and project management skills for self and teams.
- Strong nuclear and mechanical aptitude.
Great to have…
- Master’s degree or PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Health Physics, or related technical field.
- 5+ years leading teams in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience working within Quality Management Systems and design control processes in regulated industries such as Medical or Nuclear (DOE or NRC regulated).
Other things to know…
- Full-time position.
- The company’s standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6a – 6p with production-related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts.
- This position is a part of shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area. Travel between locations is expected in the role.
