Job Summary
The Financial System Administrator position will assist in administering daily operations and maintenance processes of both financial systems, Hyperion and Prologue. Oversee day-to-day administration including user management, security roles, and system monitoring. Provide support to end-users as needed, helping them to effectively navigate and utilize Hyperion and Prologue. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for both the financial systems. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Finance as well as a good technical understanding of databases, reporting and excel (Smartview). Additionally, will be involved in accounting month end books close and maintenance of monthly actual to plan to forecast reporting processes and the yearly budgeting process.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain hierarchy structures and mapping tables within EDM (Meta Data Tool), processing monthly financials. Support the monthly actual to plan to forecast reporting processes as well as the 10Q and K reporting.
Oversee user management, security roles, and system monitoring. Provide end-users support for both Hyperion and Prologue .
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for both the financial systems. Manage team documents and smartview templates on SharePoint and Sharedrive.
Act as liaison between Finance and IT tofacilitate the support of the Finance Reporting environment, including problem analysis and solution development.
Supporting the monthly forecasting process including loading and reconciling data, supporting end users, maintaining planning forms and reporting templates.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Information Technology / MIS / Finance or related.
Minimum experience required: 1 Years applicable experience, including financial management experience in banking, including proficiency with Excel and Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) in Information Technology / MIS / Finance or related.
Job Competencies:
Good understanding of Hyperion Planning and ERP (GL) System.
Knowledge of general business theory and practices, and basic accounting principles.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Smartview).
Experience with various financial tools and how they function, ie: financial reports, budget, forecasts, etc
