SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Financial Assistant for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. The person will be responsible for supporting financial operations by accurately processing entries, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Process journal entries and maintain accurate records.
- Support grant-related financial reporting and documentation.
- Review transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with audits and other finance-related projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of financial information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
