Key Responsibilities:
- Building Maintenance: Ensure all buildings, structures, and infrastructures are well-maintained and functional. Oversee regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs to maintain high standards of facility upkeep.
- Safety and Security: Implement and monitor safety protocols and security measures to protect personnel, property, and assets. Manage emergency preparedness plans, fire safety systems, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Vendor and Contract Management: Manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services such as maintenance, janitorial services, security, and landscaping. Ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all facilities comply with applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards. This includes compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and security protocols.
- Emergency Response and Continuity Planning: Implement emergency response plans and business continuity strategies. Ensure that disaster recovery protocols are in place to maintain the resilience and security of facilities in the event of unforeseen incidents.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, building operations, or a similar role, ideally in the defense industry or another highly regulated sector.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address facility-related challenges and optimize operations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
