We are seeking a 1st shift compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide dedicated care for an individual with quadriplegia. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, including a structured bowel program and leg bag management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Implement and maintain a bowel program as directed by the care plan
- Help with leg bag management, including emptying and maintaining hygiene
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility support
- Administer medications as directed
- Ensure safety and comfort at all times
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and document patient progress and any changes in condition
Requirements:
- Experience with quadriplegic care, including bowel programs and leg bag management
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Schedule:
- Full-time/Part-time available
- Flexible hours to be discussed during interview 3-11p
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience ($16-$18)
