Position: Marketing Specialist I
Employment Status: Grade 7 / Non-Exempt
Reports to: Marketing Leader
Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission, vision, and brand promise. You will do this by living out our core values in every service contact to both internal and external members. Essential Duties

Assist with marketing initiatives, projects, and campaigns—both digital and traditional—to promote and build brand awareness of the credit union and its products/services

Assist with developing and managing website content

Build email campaigns and marketing automation to support member journey mapping

Provide insights to team members and offer solutions to increase member engagement

Successfully obtain Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through America's Credit Unions within the first year of employment
Duties and Responsibilities

Create and revise marketing content including writing, design, and multimedia editing
-
Support in managing TV screen marketing and phone messaging through Works24 vendor
-
Develop and monitor social media content; respond to community engagement and comments

Update branch digital signage with current marketing messages

Conduct marketing research as needed

Design print and digital creative content using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva

Capture and curate visual content (photos and videos) from branches and community events

Update website content, including rates and page layout

Write and share blog content relevant to member and community interests

Support youth program content development
-
Participate in community events and outreach efforts

Other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience

Associate degree required; preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree

1–2 years of related professional marketing experience required

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva

Basic knowledge of HTML and website content management systems (CMS)

Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
