General Definition of Work:
Delivers meals to home-bound older adults who are unable to prepare a well-balanced meal. Performs manual work packing, loading, and delivering hot and cold meals.
Essential Functions:

Perform manual work packing, loading, and delivering hot and frozen meals prepared in the Commission on Aging Kitchen.

Deliver meals and other items in a delivery van by following specified routes. Deliveries may be to Senior Centers for congregate meals or to designated addresses for home-delivered meals programs.

Unload food at centers, transfer hot food pans to steam tables, and place cold foods in refrigerators.

Return equipment to the central kitchen.

Routinely perform safety inspections, check oil and other fluid levels, and obtain service as scheduled or needed. Maintain records of mileage, gasoline use, and services.

Assist in stocking and cleaning the central kitchen, including dishwashing and custodial duties.
