Associate Production Peak Season - Cold Side
Job Summary:
Indiana Packers is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team to fulfill our Associate Production Peak Season positions. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Production Associates play a critical role in the processing, packaging, and quality control of our meat products to ensure customer satisfaction and food safety standards.
This production position is needed Monday-Friday for 8-10 hours a day, including some Saturdays. Shift hours may vary depending on the team assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks in the meat processing facility, including skinning, cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, and labeling meat products.
- Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all food safety and quality assurance standards are met in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, processing, and sanitation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a cold (around 20-40 degrees), fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
- Must be available to work from August 2025 - February 2026.
- Prior experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working with raw meat and/or carcass parts
- Ability to safely work with knives (training is a plus!) if trained
- Able to lift or exert a force of at least 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Compliance with all company policies, including food safety and workplace safety protocols.

This manufacturing position earns a competitive wage of $19.50 per hour for the first shift and $20.50 per hour for the second shift.

This factory position is in Delphi Indiana (6755 W 100 N Delphi, IN 46923), a short drive from Lafayette Indiana & Purdue University.
