- Bachelor’s degree preferably in social sciences or other life sciences related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Previous experience in regulatory compliance.
- Ability to understand and interpret federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to research compliance.
- Knowledge in the federal, state and local regulations and policies to research compliance in a university setting is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work within a diverse research community and stressful situations.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, database applications and other electronic protocol management systems to support research compliance and administration.
