Swick Home Services is seeking a motivated HVAC, Plumbing & Carpentry Apprentice to join their team in Marquette, MI. As an Apprentice, you will work alongside our seasoned leads in performing HVAC and plumbing installation and repairs as well as completing carpentry work.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- Starting wage of $15.00 – $23.00 per hour.

- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No weekends! Overtime may be available.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Install and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Perform HVAC maintenance including routine inspections, clean coils, replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and lubricate moving parts.
- Diagnose and fix system malfunctions.
- Install and repair ductwork and ventilation.
- Install and repair water supply lines, drainage pipes, and gas lines.
- Install sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, dishwashers, and water heaters.
- Identify and fix water leaks.
- Unclog drains and sewer lines using augers, hydro-jetting, and chemical treatments.
- Cutting, shaping, and installing building materials to construct and repair structures.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical principles.
- Possess a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy equipment (minimum of 50lbs).
- Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to adapt quickly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
