Create elegant solutions for some of the most complex material handling and logistics projects in the world
Deliver large, impactful, and meaningful enterprise projects while working in a small, nimble, and flexible start-up environment
Leads in configuring the enterprise supply chain software to suit for the solution to customer's requirements.
Leads the most complex design, maintenance, enhancement, testing, implementation, and support of software.
Leads and designs the development of software test requirements for the most complex modules under development, executes most complex test specifications.
Leads and designs effort estimates for the most complex software modules and systems, comparing cost and benefit of different approaches.
Leads reviews of the most complex customers' standards specification and other documentation to determine software engineering requirements.
Designs presentations of complex technical findings and developments.
Coaches and mentors team leads and experienced developers.
Seeks to improve internal processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
Display original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments.
Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
Acts as advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters. Represents the company as the primary external contact.
Travel across North America to customer sites to validate system functionality and testing (approximately 20%)
Tasks and Qualifications:
Required:
BS - Computer Science (or other Engineering Degree)
10+ Years software development experience
5+ Years automation or material handling industry experience
Advanced knowledge in minimum of 2 object-oriented languages, including Java EE
Proficient in at least 1 other language
Advanced knowledge of at least 2 operating systems
2 industry standard certifications
Advanced knowledge of minimum 2 Dematic Software Application (Internal)
Preferred:
MS - Computer Science (or other Engineering Degree)
Lean/Agile certification
