Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Starting salary: $45,000
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months
Overview: As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant for MERRILL: A Keel Company, you will be responsible for providing administrative support on behalf of the Human Resources department to the Republic Avenue facility in Alma, Michigan.
Job Functions:
- Responsible for administrative tasks as requested by plant manager
- Will assist in recruiting efforts in conjunction with Technical Recruiter specific to that facility, including:
- Setting up interviews, weld tests, or paint tests
- Communicating directly with candidates upon arrival to the facility and directing them accordingly
- Any other HR functions as requested by the HR Manager/People Director
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; Degree in HR-related discipline will be strongly considered.
- One year or less experience
- Fluent computer skills including Excel, Word, and HRIS Software
- Must possess above average people skills, be able to work well with others, and be independent and self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality is necessary.
