Job Description * Develop and optimize molecular assays, including RT-qPCR and ddPCR. * Perform and optimize DNA and RNA extractions from various clinical sample types. * Analyze experimental data and interpret results. * Present data and findings clearly and concisely. * Collaborate with team members and contribute to project planning and execution. * Support cell culture work. * Maintain accurate e-notebook. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Qualifications The ideal candidate would possess: * Ph.D. candidate in molecular biology, cellular biology, immunology, animal science, genetics and related fields. * Deep understanding of molecular and cellular biology. * Hands-on experience with assay development and biomarker identification. * Proficiency in using software for sequence alignments and data analysis (e.g., BLAST, Clustal Omega). * Independent thinking with the ability to innovate from the bench and efficiently collaborate with other team members within one's own reporting line as well as the project team. * Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies. * Self-starter, able to prioritize work and work efficiently with minimal supervision. * Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills * Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail are essential. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Basic Minimum Qualifications: * Master's degree (MSc) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a closely related discipline with 5 years of experience. * At least 3-5 years of experience in molecular biology. * Proven track record of independent research and data analysis. * Ability to present complex data to both scientific and non-scientific audiences. * Experience working in a BSL-2 Laboratory. Additional Information Additional Details: The position is full-time, on-site.Overtime will be required on a rotational basis to cover weekend Bioreactor sampling and occasional off-shift operations.
