JOB TITLE: Clubhouse Attendant
RATE OF PAY: $12.48 per hour

Approximate employment period: April through November (2025)
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of supportive services necessary for the orderly operation of the Bay County Golf Course. Will collect fees, take reservations and rent equipment. In addition, will open/close facility, prepare financial summaries and arrange/complete financial transfers. Supervision is general, received from the Recreation Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide outstanding customer service.
2. Answer the telephone in a timely fashion and check voicemail hourly.
3. Book tee times.
4. Selling merchandise. Restock merchandise at end of each shift.
5. Cash handling.
6. Operate the point-of-sale computer.
7. Organize the golf shop including daily cleaning.
8. Clean the bathrooms at end of each shift.
9. Secure clubhouse at beginning and end of shift.
10. Handle all opening or closing procedures in a timely fashion.
11. Punctual and consistent attendance is an essential function.
12. All other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience required in the following areas: Cash handling; basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; good communication skills; customer service.
