Position Summary
Methode Electronics is seeking a Finance Intern - FP&A to support our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, offering exposure to strategic decision-making within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
Support monthly and quarterly variance analysis to assess financial performance.
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations with key financial insights.
Conduct cost analysis, revenue trends evaluation, and margin analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Research industry and economic trends to support strategic financial planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Given the hands-on experience and exposure that this internship opportunity provides, the position is based onsite, 5-days a week.
The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $20 to $25 dollars per hour depending on anticipated graduation year and prior internships or experience.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
