Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services;
Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives;
Inspect the sample's completeness, functionality, design, and manufacturing costs for the company's purchasing decision;
Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices;
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine the need for changes;
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers;
Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications; and
Report statistical and unit-cost analysis to management.
Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration and 12 months of experience in purchasing positions are required.
