Job Details

Position Description:

• Technical Buyer / Expeditor.
• Managing of capital project tracking for all product lines.
• Order placement of materials, components, equipment, and services.
• Verifies requisitions and obtains quotations.
• Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
• Invoice tracking and payment verification.
• Managing Corporate Lab credit card purchase & expense reports.
• Shipping arrangement and some global PC&L coordination.

Skills Required:

• Candidate must have a working understanding of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Project).
• Candidate to be generally familiar with Automotive components (half shaft, steering gear, etc.).
• Candidate to be generally familiar with computer and industrial components
• Candidate must exhibit the following:
• Good financial skills 
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle many diverse requests simultaneously
• Good documentation and information archiving practices
• Willingness to work independently or in a group
• Desire for continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Skills Preferred:

Experience Required:

• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience Preferred:

• Buyer / Expeditor experience preferred but not required

Education Required:

• Minimum Two-year associate degree in engineering or business related field
