Drives truck to destination.- Pulls levers to tilt body and dump contents.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and all fluids.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Is responsible for the condition of their vehicle (Keeps truck clean and in good working order)
- Inspects material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure.
- The driver must always be in DOT compliance during employment with the company.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- The driver is expected to grease their truck once a week.
- Must be able to mount and dismount trucks and equipment
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Class A Driver's License preferred
- One year of driving experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of road construction materials and tools.
- Overtime as required
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
