Job Summary
Manage the compensation process and function, philosophy, and framework for thyssenkrupp Materials NA.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Leads the development of tkMNA compensation philosophy and framework, partnering with the executive and HR teams
Main point of contact in organization for compensation support, questions and guidance
Acts as coach and advisor to drive compensation industry best practices
Manage current Job catalog - write job descriptions and maintain database of all job descriptions
Maintain salary ranges for tkMNA, performing benchmarking against external market surveys and internal parity, to determine appropriate job leveling
Evaluate and price new jobs utilizing salary surveys; provide direction for creation of new jobs in SAP Org Management to HR Operations
Continuously review compensation practices/processes and implement process improvements
Participate in global and regional salary surveys as required
Manage activity required for company LTI program - annual reporting of target compensation, reporting changes in personnel affecting stock rights, communication of stock issuance, annual processing of payments under program, quarterly reconciliation with Finance Design and prepare ad hoc compensation reports
Manage annual merit and bonus processes
Assist with administration of global graded bonus plans
Calculate annual Profit Sharing bonus & 401K/RRSP contribution, per plan design, and coordinate payments with the payroll team
Assist with internal/external audits for compliance in Wage and Hour, Minimum Wage, FLSA, Pay Equity and other applicable compensation topics
Requirements:
Minimum
3-5 years of previous related compensation experience, preferable in a compensation-specific role Related Bachelor's Degree (HR, Business, Data analytics, Mathematics etc.)
Prior experience with job pricing, market benchmarking, creation or maintenance of compensation structures In depth knowledge of FLSA, Wage and Hour, Pay Equity and other compensation related laws
Ability to be a self starter and prioritize tasks with minimal direction
Solid Project and Change management experience
Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality
Preferred
Experience with SuccessFactors Compensation Module, SAP, HCM user experience
