As a Generation Engineer, you’ll be part of our Generation team, playing a key role in planning, organizing, and managing engineering and construction projects. You’ll help keep our power generation facilities running efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position reports to and works under the general guidance of the Director of Generation & Environmental Services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Lead and support engineering and construction projects – develop small to mid-level project scopes and cost estimates.
- Assist with asset management and maintenance programs – ensuring smooth operations.
- Conduct technical reviews of engineering and construction packages.
- Support generation facility operations – helping prioritize tasks and coordinating maintenance.
- Work with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects meet budgets, schedules, and safety standards.
- Participate in dam safety inspections and regulatory compliance efforts.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Geotechnical) or a construction-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in engineering/technical document development and review.
- 2 or more years of experience in data collection and analysis.
- 1 or more years of experience in project documentation (scope, estimates, schedules, etc.)
- Experience managing engineering or construction projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS THAT PUT YOU OVER THE TOP.
- Leadership experience (formal or informal).
- Project management experience.
- Experience working in a generating plant or industrial facility in operations, maintenance, or a technical role.
