COMMUNITY HEALTH AIDE -This full time position will provide coverage within the Community Health programs that may vary day to day dependent upon client needs and staffing and may provide transportation, assistance with the elder meal program, delivery of tribal commodities and medications, as well as in-home services such as cleaning, personal care, meal prep, transportation for shopping/bill pay and chore services. Aide must abide by confidentiality laws and be proficient in time management, organizational skills, follow-through and ability to determine daily schedule of needs.
QUALIFICATIONS-High school graduate or equivalent; must possess and maintain valid MI. driver’s license (in compliance with HIC insurance carrier); as well as a licensed, insured vehicle for use on the job; Chauffer License preferred. CNA required (or completion within one year of hire); the certificate must not have been revoked, suspended and without limitations or restrictions; CPR Certification (or become certified within 6 months of hire). Minimum six months’ experience in a health care facility and in home services/housekeeping; must have previous relevant experience or training skills in assisting with personal care needs, housekeeping, household management, meal preparation, good health practices, observation, reporting and recording information. Knowledge of EPIC or equivalent EHR knowledge; must have ability to utilize direction information for navigating to various locations; strong computer skills including Microsoft 365, Outlook, EPIC.
WAGE N4 ($13.73-$17.18) or dependent upon qualifications.
