The Business Analyst role involves supporting IT projects and work requests, focusing on implementing new solutions to improve efficiency and public service. The role requires being a liaison between the company and project stakeholders, leading requirements gathering, and facilitating strategy development for enhancements. The analyst will also support Agency Partners in navigating company policies and processes to ensure project success.
Key duties include attending project meetings, facilitating stakeholder discussions, capturing session outcomes, and contributing to the overall activities of the Business Analyst team. The ideal candidate should have experience with processes, facilitation, and gap analysis, as well as a self-directed, adaptable approach to work.
Specific Position Experience Required:
- Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
- Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions.
- Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.
- Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
- Minimum of 1 year working on IT infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
