Madeline Bertrand Park Ranger (Seasonal)

• $12.48/hr.
• Positions available year around at Madeline Bertrand County Park in Niles, MI.
• This seasonal position allows for a maximum of 1,000 hours per calendar year. It does not include any benefits.

Duties:

• Responsible for assisting with the routine operation, maintenance, supervision and security of a county park facility.
• Empties trash receptacles, cleans restrooms and picks up litter.
• Collects park fees, enforces park rules and assists park visitors.

Required:

• Must be at least 16 years of age with valid identification.
• An employee in this class is required to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis and is required to wear a department-issued uniform while on the job.

• Familiarity with the buildings and grounds of the assigned park.
