Superior Handyman Corporation is seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Marquette, MI. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. In addition to driving, you will also play an integral role in supporting grading work, assisting with setting forms, and working alongside equipment operators to ensure job sites are properly graded and prepared.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a Class A CDL Dump Truck to haul materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, and debris to and from job sites.
• Assist with grading job sites by working alongside equipment operators, ensuring proper elevation, slope, and finish for construction projects.
• Help set forms for concrete pours and other aspects of site preparation.
• Perform routine truck inspections and minor maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks
• Maintain good communication with the project manager, equipment operators, and other crew members to ensure work is being completed on time and to specification
Qualification:
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving dump trucks and working on construction sites is preferred.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn to assist with small construction equipment, such as skid steers or graders.
• Basic understanding of construction site grading and form setting is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefit:
