Position Title: Global Transmission Calibration Engineer
Location: Onsite. Auburn, Hills, MI.
Pay Range: $43.28 - $44.17
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Prior Automotive Experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable).
Excellent written and Oral communication skills.
MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
Product Proficiency Desire to perform in-vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis "desk" work.
Willingness to work with global teams.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Will play an integral part for developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy.
Developing, verifying and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications.
Performing hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work.
Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities.
Work to coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets.
Work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives.
Responsible for working with a global team to manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.
