HVAC Technician Lead - Hydronics Systems

Responsibilities:

• Specialize in large hydronic systems and boiling systems, in addition to working with forced air, refrigeration, split systems, and other HVAC systems.
• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of various mechanical systems, including fans, motors, heating units, controls, pumps, and more.
• Work from schedules, work orders, blueprints, sketches, and other technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, including performing standard calculations related to load requirements and pipe sizes.
• Lead and manage a team on HVAC projects, while also contributing hands-on work as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with large hydronic systems is a must.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical documentation.
• Projects are mostly on a federal installation so travel to federal sites is required
• Physical ability to bend, squat, lift, carry, stand, and kneel as required by the job.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be available for domestic travel for extended periods of time. 
• HVAC certification required.
• Experience in commercial HVAC projects is required.
