Peninsula Powder Coating seeks full-time Yard Associates/Forklift Operators to join their team in Baraga, Michigan.

- $16.00 – $20.00 per hour starting pay based on experience.

SCHEDULE. This is full-time, Monday – Friday position working 7am – 3:30pm. Schedules may flex based on company production demands.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Experience operating forklifts required as you will load and unload trucks and move parts around various work areas.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, climb; load/unload heavy objects with assistance (up to 100 lbs.).
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (hot, cold, humid, windy, rainy, snowy, etc.).
- Exceptional work ethic required.
- You are organized, reliable, and work well individually and as a team leader.
- Ability to work in an environment that has paint and primer fumes, uses cleaning chemicals, and related chemicals used to coat and clean industrial products.
- Practice safe work practices by lifting properly, wearing protective equipment/clothing (safety glasses, footwear, respirators, hardhats, hearing protection, etc. as needed) and maintain a safe work environment always.
- Willingness to assist other production areas when needed.
- You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
