We're seeking a skilled licensed plumber with HVAC experience that will be responsible for plumbing installations and repairs. Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, diagnose, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures.
- Diagnose, replace parts, perform routine maintenance checks, and ensuring optimal indoor air quality by working on equipment like furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems;
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices
Plumber Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems, including water supply and drainage.
- Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing/HVAC challenges accordingly.
- Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion.
Education and Requirements:
- State plumbing license (Preferred)
- HVAC Technician Certifications (Preferred)
- Valid driver's license (Must Have)
