Description
Ricardo Defense is looking for an experienced Assistant Program Manager that will work directly with our customer to provide administrative and management support and perform planning analysis in support of defense programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Program Manager is a subject matter expert with knowledge and experience in logistics, acquisition, and program management.
The Assistant Program Manager will perform the following tasks:
Conduct analyses of Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases and develop recommendations for integration of customer defined communication, safety, weapon, crew, systems, add-ons, and appliques to enhance the capability of partner nation acquired systems by expediting FMS case development.
Collaborate with partner agencies, such as military depots and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and conduct analyses to develop vehicle and system specifications and production schedules to include conducting long lead material analysis and risk reconnaissance activities.
Support project planning activities including development of integrated master schedules, including work breakdown structures, and conduct analyses of and develop recommendations for budget, cost, and procurement for Government development of senior level briefs to U.S. and foreign partners.
The work will entail a wide range of support activities. The interpersonal skills we need are associated with forward-facing customer service, strong management skills in planning and execution, strengthening customer relationships, transparent communication, working on cross-functional and collaborative teams, and driving customer satisfaction.
Additional Duties:
Supporting high priority programs identified within SAMD.
Case Integrator duties, including:
o Provides direct case execution support to the Country Case Manager
o Coordinates contract efforts, diversions, and any other roles necessary to execute the FMS case.
o Maintains detailed case status and reporting for leadership.
o Provide Program Management Review support.
o Attend program level meetings with senior management and foreign partners as directed.
Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and a U.S. Government Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
Must have experience supporting Foreign Military Sales office.
A minimum of ten years of relevant experience
Experience in the supporting large, complex, multi-faceted projects and organizations
Experience analyzing problems, conducting research, summarizing results, making recommendations, preparing reports/documents and presenting results on complex, multi-faceted projects.
Experience working on a DOD programs.

Salary Description
150,000 -$170,000
