Overview
Our client in Roseville, MI is seeking a highly skilled Seat Complete Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles with a specific focus on Seat Engineering. This role requires innovative thinking and the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects that push the boundaries of technology.
This is a contract position with the opportunity for direct hire
Responsibilities
- Able to lead new projects from start to finish, define action plans, and develop unique solutions to bring ideas to reality.
- Collaborate with the CAD Design Team to start and develop seating related 3D CAD solutions.
- The ability to lead engineering solutions and prototype builds.
- Understand seat structural design, CAE and validation testing/certification.
- Ability and confidence to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of Management internally including customer base.
- Lead Engineering related face to face and Teams based meetings between customers and team members and be able to lead the customer to a solution.
- Maintain, track, and work to close-out open items lists.
- Coordinate and manage prototype property builds and root cause technical issues.
- The aptitude and ability to multitask while working on multiple projects which may have various timelines and associated deliverables
Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required
- Proven experience in Seat Engineering is required
- Related work in automotive, military or aerospace is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Proficiency in simulation software and tools relevant to quantum systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies within the field.
