Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials between various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of organization. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring that all necessary components are available for production and service needs.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport parts to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and managing stock levels.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for moving heavy items as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
Skills
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
