As a Grants Financial Functional Consultant, you will play a significant role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's Grants Management and Financial solutions for our healthcare customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team, collaborating with project management, product, and fellow consultants to deliver outstanding results. The Grants Financial Consultant will provide Workday product, industry, and deployment expertise to our customers by serving as the Grants Management architect and advisor on customer engagements while aligning solutions across the other functional areas.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Contribute and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.

Resolve client requirements through tailored Workday grants and financial solutions.

Demonstrate the configurations and support the customer in testing.

Participate in updated training and other events that share one's product and industry skills with other consultants.

Partner with the Engagement Manager (PMO) to ensure successful project outcomes through actively participating in workstream meetings, providing status reports, and leading cross functional sessions.

Participant in customer prospect discovery sessions.

Mentor and aid in the career growth of other team members.

Partner with the healthcare leadership to set internal initiatives to drive innovation and improvements in deployments.
About You
Basic Qualifications: Senior Functional Consultant (P4)

5+ years of grants and/or financial consulting experience OR 5+ years of grants and/or research operational experience in healthcare organizations.

Experience with Workday, Lawson, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.

Experience with grants management solutions along with one or more of the following: Accounts Receivable, Projects, Endowments, Fund or Non-Profit Accounting
Basic Qualifications: Principal Functional Consultant (P5)

7+ years of grants and/or financial consulting experience OR 7+ years of grants and/or research operational experience in healthcare organizations.

Experience with Workday, Lawson, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.

Experience with grants management solutions along with one or more of the following: Accounts Receivable, Projects, Endowments, Fund or Non-Profit Accounting
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - preferably in Finance or Accounting

At least 2 full-cycle software implementations in the healthcare industry

Understand the reporting and compliance requirements for government, state, and/or local funded grants

Working knowledge of research or clinical trial solutions such as Huron Click, Cayuse, or OnCore

Passion for customer service and project management experience

Engage with all levels of customer/prospect leadership

Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

Ability to prioritize multiple project engagements at a time

Ability to travel up to 50 percent
