ROUSH is seeking a motivated and energetic Corporate Recruiter to support our Prototype Services division! This customer service oriented individual will be recruiting for various skilled trade positions, such as automotive mechanics, electrical technicians, instrumentation technicians, and fabricators. This is a fast-paced environment in which you will support hiring managers; not only in the direct hire recruitment process, but also by being a liaison to the contract houses/staffing agencies. You will use various sourcing techniques such as tech schools, job fairs, social media, and Veteran/Transitioning Military outreach. The Corporate Recruiter will also be responsible for presenting new hire orientation and acting as an HR point of contact for employees. This position is located in Allen Park, MI.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
Experience recruiting skilled trade positions
Associate’s degree required
Possesses the skills to work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions for posting purposes
Experience identifying and utilizing external sources and social media for talent acquisition of passive candidates
Corporate Recruiter must have ability to network and develop relationships with candidates
Willingness to travel between locations as needed
Demonstrated computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and possesses the skills to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Corporate Recruiter must have experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree
Prior experience recruiting within Affirmative Action guidelines and/or OFCCP
Prior experience in a customer service setting
Possesses an understanding of Military Occupational Classifications (MOCs)
