Miller Industries has partnered with Mott Community College on an outstanding 4-year Electrical Apprentice Program to develop future skilled Journeyman Electricians. We are currently seeking Apprentices on 1st shift to work alongside our Journeyman Electricians at our 2 locations in Fenton, MI. We will also work around your class schedule.
If you are a reliable worker, have an eagerness to learn on the job while attending classes at Mott, then this may be the opportunity for you.
To get started you will learn the following:
- Reading blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation.
- Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
- Performs wire and cable pulls.
- Learn how to use the NEC codebook.
- Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite.
- Using various hand tools, site tools and safety equipment as needed on the job site.
Requirement:
- 6 months+ of electrical education and/or experience in high school, skilled trade center or college.
