Technical Business Analysts play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technology. They work closely with various stakeholders, including project teams, business unit representatives, vendors, and technical staff, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Analysts are responsible for delivering complex business solutions by providing expert advice on solution options, timelines, designs, and implementation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams, business units, and technical staff to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and vendors to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
- Provide strategic counsel on solution designs, timelines, and implementation plans for complex business projects.
- Lead the analysis, design, testing, and implementation phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed use cases, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Design system and system integration requirements based on business needs.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases across various SDLC stages.
- Estimate project scope, resources, and timelines, collaborating with developers and business partners to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or business/industry roles.
- 5+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.
- Proven experience in working on moderate-to-complex projects or systems.
- Expertise in Agile/Lean methodologies; familiarity with Waterfall is preferred.

- Proficient in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Experienced in converting business needs into use cases, epics, and user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Skilled in system and system integration design.
- Ability to quantify estimates, identify resource needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
